Banksii Vermouth Bar & Bistro - Barangaroo

Why hello generous serving in Banksii in Sydney CBD! I’m so delighted there are a few nice restaurants in Barangaroo including the Banksii. Quite often my overseas friends/relatives would ask me where to have nice dinner in Sydney CBD and I’d struggle to give an answer because all I could think of is Asian food which they would have an abundant of in Hong Kong!

Roast half chicken, radicchio, almonds, parsley, agrodolce $36
The chicken was juicy and the serving is very generous too. The jus was packed with flavour which went well with the protein and the almonds gave it a crunch element which I absolutely love. Can I have some rice to soak it up please?

Seared kingfish, wild fennel vinaigrette, fermented chilli, dandelion $36
Like the chicken, the serving size was generous too for the kingfish. It was cooked perfectly and the aniseed from the fennel complemented the fish. The only disappointment was that I couldn’t taste any of the chilli.

Green herb salad $9
Oops no individual pic of the salad itself so here’s a pic with our lunch!

Really enjoyed the food here and the service was great too, all the wait staff were attentive and friendly. Would happily come back here again and perhaps for dinner after work since it’s so convenient!
